- Download the package for your operating system and architecture, install it, and open LuciQA. It stays in the system tray when its windows are closed.
- On macOS, allow Screen Recording in System Settings, then restart LuciQA if requested. On Linux, capture support depends on the desktop session; Wayland can restrict capture and overlays.
- Create an API key with a supported provider. Open LuciQA Settings, choose that provider, and enter the key. Provider billing and quotas are separate.
- Choose an available model, select one provider for Free, and save your settings. Keep your key private.
- From the tray, choose the text (OCR) or image question action, then select only the region containing your question. OCR recognizes English and Turkish locally.
- Read the answer and check important details against a reliable source. Pro adds Multi and comparison between providers; neither is required for your first Free question.
Provider charges and quotas are separate from LuciQA.
